M6700 mSATA USB 3.0 port ?
hi all,
I've recently bought a Samsung mSATA SSD that is capable of throughput of up to 550 mb/sec, for my M6700 laptop. For some reason, the throughput I get is approx 250 mb/sec. My thinking is that the mSATA is not USB 3.0 and instead 2.0. Is my assumption correct or are there any BIOS settings for the mSATA speed? Also, how is the M6800 fare, as far as speed of the mSATA port/bus?

Most mSATA ports are SATA 2.0 (3Gbps) -- not SATA 3.0 (6 GBps).

understood. However, does anyone know if the mSATA port on the M6800 laptop is 3.0? (6Gbps)?
