My computer won't load windows

I have a Dell inspiron 1525 and my warranty is done. -_- so here goes. When I turned on my laptop it gets stuck on the microsoft corporation loading bar. I've tried to boot the installation cd but it doesnt load up. I tried going on safe mode but it gets stuck on a file \windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys then the windows error recovery message shows up. Last thing i tried was to do the last known good boot up but that doesn't work. What should I do next?

Before doing that, run an extended diagnostic on the drive - F12 at powerup. There's a high probability the cause of the problem is a failing drive.

When I put the boot cd in and wait for the windows loading file bar. Right after that nothing happens theres no option saying if I want to repair my computer.

The Dell diagnostics will answer that.

As posted above, F12 at powerup.  Boot to the Dell diagnostics, run the quick test and then boot to the full 32-bit diagnostics, and run the extended hard drive test.
