PRO1X Docking Station
Recently purchased PRO1X Docking Station for my Latitude D600 Laptop. When I connect the laptop to the docking station the amber light on the power button goes off and my power adapter is shorted off.
Any ideas?

Actually working with a brand new power cord (90 Watt) I thought it was the cord that was bad. Computer works fine without docking station.

But does the power adapter work with the computer?
Try plugging your D600's 65 watt power adapter into it (don't boot up the computer on it, 65 watts isn't enough and you'll get an error message). If the 65 watts one also gets shorted out, then the docking station is defective.
