If the battery came from Dell or a reseller that offers only OEM batteries, it's genuine; anywhere else, ask the seller.

You are saying the information I know. I saw in before posts, like if we post the PPID No in this community, they are confirming us about genuinity. So only I posted.

If it is genuine, it's not new -- 74M means the battery was made in 2017, so it's about four years old.
The part number doesn't necessarily mean anything; these can be reproduced by third-party manufacturers.
