Dell E5570 Battery Upgrade Question
Hi, I am upgrading my Dell Latitude E5570 from an HDD to an SSD (more on that missing bracket and heat cover later). I see that I now have room for a larger battery since the HDD is gone. I have seen a video with someone using a larger battery, and was wondering about it.
The other battery size I see an 84Wh battery at 11.6V. That roughly translates to 7240mAh.
The current battery I have is a 62Wh battery at 7.6V. This roughly translates to 8150mAh.
My questions: why would I want to buy a larger battery with a potentially worse battery life? Is there something I am missing? Does the extra voltage do me any benefit? Why don't they make that 82Wh battery at 7.6V?
Thanks,
JT
P.S. Will this bracket/heat cover here be all I need for my SSD upgrade? Thanks!

The 84 Wh battery is a 6 cell where as the 62 Wh is a 4 cell. The 6 cell should easily outperform the 4 cell. Do not go by mAh. This link should help answer some questions.

Thanks for the response. It never crossed my mind to think about whether a battery had more cells. I didn't even know it was important. I am just an amateur, thanks!
Why did you send that link? It seemed to me to be entirely unrelated (lol?). Was that a wrong link?
Thanks,
JT
