Dell Repository manager 2.2.4.630 Business Client Edition vs DCU 2.4.0 Updates

Hi Sorry if this is the wrong group. couldn't find one for DCU and Enterprise.

So I have a few problems with understanding the DRM vs DCU.

The first issue is taht the DCU takes near 20 minutes to query the catalogue file? Which is local to my network on a file share.

The Second issue is that there were updates to three driver files this morning. So I updated the DRM as per the manual, and it is re-downloading the entire repo again.

How do I stop that from happening. The repo 40GB of driver downloads, which I now have to sync with our other 7 servers in in different offices. 

The third issue is the manual adding of a newer driver/bios. I tried this this morning with the latitude 7280 bios (Latitude_7x80_1.16.1.exe). That is the newer version and it has not been detected by DRM. So we can't get it using the official channel. I need to add this ASAP to the repo becuase we are still waiting on between 5 and 10 support issues with Dell regarding these laptops and docking issues. And we need to see if the new bios is going to fix some of these docking issues for our 1000+ laptops. The problem is that when I imported the new bios it only adds it as an extra file in the repository. How do I edit it so that it will be detected by the laptops?
