Dell g3 charging problem
Hi guys
I have the dreaded charging problem. It runs ok if I disconnect the battery and just run off AC Power. but if the battery is connected it cycles through the connected and disconnected. I've replaced the power pack, power socket, and battery (had less than 10% power left when arrived) all genuine items. Can't update BIOS the usual ways, so tried through F12 using a USB stick with the file on but still won't let me as its says the power is inadequate with the battery connected and disconnected. I'm acts less as to what to do now

The G3 is an Inspiron not an Latitude.
It used to be that if trying to update the BIOS in DOS you can use /forceit to force an update even without a battery. Give that a try.
