Dell won't get past Dell logo

I have a Dell e7740, it won't get past the Dell logo on startup, neither Wil it load the bios the F2 or de fn diagnostic, so nothing works.

I drained the battery, removed cmos battery, nothing helps.

Please anybody knows how to fix this?

Welcome to the Dell Community

Hold down the "D" key, push the power button, release the power button, wait 2-3 seconds and release the "D" key

The laptop should go through an LCD test of solid White, Red, Green, Blue and Black 2 or 3 times.

After completion it should try to automatically boot 2 or 3 times.

Give it time to complete the test and boot.

Best regards,

U2

@Mailf

If you have 2 sticks of memory installed try using just 1.

Power up with d key gives some lcd colors, but I still does not boot or go into bios after that. Still hangs on the Dell logo (status bar half way)

It has been sitting there for 20 hours, so it really does not get past that Dell logo screen. Even with the hard drive dismounted or other hard drives in, nothing works...

Yes it looks like it, I already tried that with the cmos removed he first tries to power on 2 times and shuts off, after that he powers up with screen and gets the Dell logo again, so not like in the video

Not really I don't have anything flashing or beeping

Only power button is on. And in the beginning the hard drive, .

Is there a way to flash the bios for this computer without needing to enter the bios?

All this started when I deleted a Linux partition. Then could net get into windows with grub rescue. Then nothing happens so I don't understand

So Dell can you send me the bios tool? To flash the bios because it looks like it's the bios that is corrupted.
