Is it true that Latitude 7400 is unable to detect the external microphone?
I am using Windows 10 Professional on my Latitude 7400 with Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.8777.1 and the microphone plugged into the 3.5 mm jack is not detected.
I tried older driver versions and also both external microphone and headsets. In both cases there is no trace of the mic although with headsets the sound is coming trough the headphones.
After reading several posts it looks like this is not an isolated problem.

I know this post is a few months old but I found a fix, you have to install the Waves-MaxxAudio-Pro tool in Windows 10.

@SahasrahlaThank you very much!! this worked perfectly. Spent countless times on the phone with Dell ProSuport and they had me re-install drivers multiple times for temp. fixes..
