Issues with graphics on dock + 2 monitors setup with Lattitude laptops

I have the most standard configuration imaginable. WD 19 docking station, two monitors connected via 2xDP or DP and HDMI. The problem is with Latitude series laptops with HD620 or HD630 graphics. When working on two monitors, usually when working with Adobe Reader or Internet Exlorer, the upper part of one screen is no longer active. On the monitor (left or right) sometimes a bar appears (3-4 cm height) which can be hovered over with mouse cursor but nothing is active to click. Sometimes it's now even a bar but just the affected screaan area its just unactive. You cannot minimize or close the app or check anything that's in the upper part of the screen  In such a situation it helps to change the resolution from the native one to any other and to restore the settings. Everything then returns to normal. However, it is very annoying. Has anyone had this problem? I have like 40 desks this ocsionally happens to all of them.

Is that a WD19DC or WD19TB type dock?

Which PSU is connected to the dock?

@Southparketeer  What are the native resolutions of the laptop's built-in display and the displays connected to the dock? Have you verified in Windows Display Settings that all of them are actually configured to run at their native resolution rather than some other resolution? Are you running the latest Intel Graphics drivers and the latest dock firmware?
