What Is The Compatible SSD Upgrade For My Latitude D630

Thanks for responding! may i know, whats the maximum RAM for my D630? I'm running on BIOS A17. And since D630 has 2 RAM Slots, means i have to buy 2 RAMS of it? for example if it can fits max of 4GB RAM means I need to buy 2x2gb or 2x4gb?

Oh, i didnt know about the free download of W10 Pro. you helped alot!

So, since my system is much more better and compatible with 32 bit operating system, so i just need to stick with this one and upgrade my RAM to 2X2GB of RAM because it's limited to only 4GB. Is it correct, sir?

But, can the bit operating system be upgraded? Can I upgrade mine from 32bit to 64 bit?

OH MY! This is so complete and very helpful plus easy to understand T.T Is there any difference in the speed if i do not upgrade my 32 bit OS to 64 bit?

Installed ( 2x4GB )=8GB memory and installing W10. "Looks good so far."

Latitude D630:

W10 Build 19041:

Installed Memory 8GB:

Available Physical Memory 5.23GB

The CPU and Chipset has a limit of 6GB.

All drivers installed and running great.

Will finish updates and let you know how it ends.

Remember 32-bit OS is limited to 4GB memory.

Windows 10 64-bit has better performance and more features.

Because the D630 is an older system 32 -bit may be better???

But 64bit is running just fine.

You can still download W10 Pro for free.

And any W7 Pro COA will still activate W10 Pro.

wow, thats a massive laptop party in there!

Now I know. So I just have to do a clean install.

Should I install the SSD first then upgrade my Windows 7 Ult to Win10 or vice versa?

Plus, after the SSD installation, will my windows 7 ult be disappeared?

Upgrading can be a problem.

It is best to do a fresh clean install rather than upgrading.

The link for W10 has both 32 and 64 bit, you just need to choose both when creating the Media Drive.
