Ubuntu 13.10 and XPS 13 (Haswell) - touch screen and touchpad gesture support...

Hello everybody,

I bought a XPS 13 (Haswell) this Christmas and I installed Ubuntu 13.10 from zero. In general, the laptop works well, but the touch screen and the touchpad gestures do not work. I installed "config-usbhid-synaptics-touchscreen", but it does not work.

Have anybody solved this problem?

Cordially,

Searching in the forum, I found this solution:

In my case, it works for two fingers. Now, the touchscreen is the next goal, any ideas?

Touchscreen problem solved. Install the config-usbhid-synaptics-touchscreen_1_all.deb package:

It works for me ;)

Followed these steps on Dell XPS 12 Haswell 9Q33, got gestures on touchpad working but touchscreen doesn't work. Installed the package above (did you just unzip it and installed .deb without the Dell installer?) but it didn't help, screen doesn't respond to touches.
