Dell XPS 15 9570 Linux Installer not showing up in UEFI mode

I am trying to install Linux on a new Dell XPS 15 9570. I have i7, 32GB Ram and windows 10 preinstalled.

I went through a lot of discussions but i am not able to get the installer USB to boot itself and go to the installation step. Can someone check if maybe i am missing something? I followed the following steps/attempts/combinations but nothing resulted in a positive outcome. Help!

I want to install Pop OS or Open Suse. Both support secure boot as well as Secure boot option turned on.

I already followed a guide and switched to ACHI. (**bleep** up windows and then found the safe mode option and got it right the second time)

I have Fast boot disabled and I for every attempt below, I tried to create the bootable USB using both etcher and rufus and they both validate their flashes. Checksum on both copies of POP OS and Open Suse Leap checked out.

When i tried to enable legacy roms and legacy boot and disabled uefi boot,

1.POP OS took me to installation but failed when it tried to install GRUB. But this is the bios mode of installing linux and not the uefi mode and i don't want to install in legacy mode. But i still tried thinking maybe i can convert it to UEFI mode later.

2.Open suse showed up installation menu but post that only the green progress bars completed below with a blank black screen and nothing happened after that for about 2 hours during 3 separate attempts.

Since i do not want to install in legacy mode, i changed the settings back to default settings. Secure boot on, legacy boot off.

For both POP OS and Leap, I tried both etcher and Rufus in EFI mode. (Total 4 attempts). No matter what option i select in the UEFI menu, i only get blank black screen after that. Not even an installation menu. Since both OS support both secure boot and UEFI, I am not really sure what is going wrong in the usb that it does not show up at all. I also tried 4 more attempts with above combinations and secure boot turned off, but same result.

I am actually also confused if maybe i am doing something wrong. In all the forums and discussions and tutorials i could find all week, i could not find a single photo of someone actually posting a photo of the UEFI menu showing the usb drive. Everyone keeps saying to choose the USB drive but I see more than 1 option always. I read somewhere that I should use the first option, but I tried them all and still i only get a blank black screen with a very small hyphen or underscore sign on top left. I am assuming it is tiny as my screen is 4k. As further comments on this post I will add photos of the UEFI boot options that show me 2 or 5 sandisk USB drives every time i try to install.

i tried etcher, rufus, combinations of secure boot settings on and off and 2 different type of operating systems checking sha256 and re downloading at least once. I am just wondering if i am missing some setting on the laptop that is not even letting me see the installer screen!! Windows is still running fine through all of this and I have drive space created separately for installing linux. Any help is appreciated!! :)

This is not happening without a Microsoft UEFI compliant os.

UBUNTU 12.04.5 and later works BUT its not water chicken install.

`18.04.2 works as well

Dell does not support POP or Open Suse,

It is recommended that you install Ubuntu ALONGSIDE windows.

LEGACY GRUB booting is no longer an option forever.

All new platforms are 64 bit only and Windows 10 only.

Older os need not apply so unless the UEFI firmware is up to CLASS 2.3.1  Microsoft standards its not EVER going to work.
