System Mechanic
Hello all.....does one really need to install System Mechanic on a new XPS-13? Does the program really offer benefits in terms of fixing issues? Isn't Dell Support Assist enough? Thanks

Just looking over what it does, for linux I would say not to bother with it. It most likely is a general fix only solution; googling your problem will most likely be more informative and useful than this. At least you'd understand why your having a problem. And it is more likely to make a change you're unaware of and cause a problem.
If it's windows, and you happened to post in the wrong forum, it might be alright, as it includes some malware protection, but again, it's a preference thing.
