Ubuntu and Quicktime

My husband is considering a laptop with Ubuntu 14.04 and was wondering if he can download quicktime in it. Also how is it that it can run both the Ubuntu and Windows OS at the same time?

It comes with both installed and can be upgraded to windows 10-having both in it.

Is it a 32 bit or 64 bit?
