wireless wep/wpa key using Linux

Hi,

I have a Dell D630 on which I installed Centos 5.2 64bits. Everything is working beautifully except for the wireless.

Actually, let me rephrase by saying that wireless witout any WPA/WEP key (unsecured) works no problem.

I followed instructions:

http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Tech/Wireless/Truemobile_ndiswrapper

Prior to that I downloaded the driver for '1350 WLAN MiniPCI/PC Card'

iwconfig wlan0 gives me:

[root@merovingian ~]# iwconfig wlan0
wlan0     IEEE 802.11g  ESSID:off/any
          Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.462 GHz  Access Point: Not-Associated
          Bit Rate=54 Mb/s   Tx-Power:32 dBm
          RTS thr:off   Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality:0  Signal level:0  Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0  Rx invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0  Invalid misc:0   Missed beacon:0

I tried different thing (installing different drivers, playing with 'wpa_supplicant' ... nothing really works. I have 2 other windows machines here with no problem to connect to my home wireless network.

I also read that there is indeed issues on Linux using ndiswrapper (at least on Ubuntu forums) but I got no straightforward solution yet.

Anyhow, I was wondering if someone faced the same issue and would share with me.

Thanks guys !

Laurent
