Venue 8 new battery
Just had to purchase a new battery for my Venue 8. Do I have to charge the new battery before using the tablet at all? I've installed the new battery and plugged it in using a Dell charger, can I now fire up the tablet and start using it while charging or do I have to wait.
I can turn it on but only get as far as the DELL screen then it goes black and nothing happens.

Please charge the battery completely before usage, as this would help improve the battery life.
