2001FP has green LED but won't bring in video image or self test
Hello all. We've a 2001FP that is about 6 months out of warranty and the other day the screen stayed black. The LED's were green, but no image.
We changed the cables out. Didn't fix anything.
We hooked up another monitor. It worked just fine.
We've disconnected all cables, let it sit without power, then just plugged the power in and can see the Dell|Genesis screen, and the
D-Sub,
DVI-D,
S-Video, and
Composite words briefly on the screen when we push the Input Select button.
We can't seem to get the Auto-Adjust button nor the self test to run though and of course there's no image beyond the brief viewing of the Dell|Genesis screen and the 1-4 options.
We've been dredging the forums and have ruled out the video card, cables, and power brick, but can't figure out just what went wonky.
Any ideas?

Hello again. I've still been reading these forums and I'm yet to determine why the monitor powers on, shows the Genesis|Dell screen but won't show any images beyond that.
Help!
