3014 not recognized anymore by Win7 (Generic non-Pnp)

Hi,

I have a u3014 for a few months on my computer and for the past few days win7 stopped recognizing it. I have tried to reinstall the screen drivers from dell which claim they don t recognize any Dell screen attached to the system. The old drivers are still installed, but Windows keeps recognizing the monitor as non-pnp. I have tried rebooting, reseting monitor and bios setting for the PC to factory settings. Have updated my gfx drivers, have verified other screens worked correctly. Deleted the device in windows and let it redetect it. Nothing will change its mind... I am now limited to 1024x768 instead of 2560x1600 on a 30" monitor and am starting to get frustrated.
