Anoying popups on second manager when display manager is running
Hi,
I have a Dell U2414H monitor on HDMI port and an elderly 17" Sony SDM S73 secondary monitor on VGA connection. When display manager is running I get a popup on the Sony monitor which says 'Auto Adjust' and then 'ADC Success' approximately every minute.
The popup only appears if Display manager is running.
I have tried both Automatic and Manual modes in Display manager but still get the problem.
Any suggestions?
- Packard Bell iMedia S2885 - Intel HD Graphics 4600
- Windows 8.1/Automatic updates.
- Display Manager 1.21.0.150.
Thanks

The Sony is likely to be a pre-MCCS monitor, that maps a status read command to a VGA auto-adjust function.
I'm not sure if this will eliminate the issue altogether, but if you are comfortable editing the Windows registry try adding the value "SkipCIcheck" to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EnTech\DDM and setting it to 1 (dword). Then restart Dell Display Manager and see if things are improved.
