Are LCD screen safe from magnetics?
I have just bought a 2407.
ANd I have a wireless connection.
Because I had to rearrange my desk, the extension ariel for my wireless card has been moved about 1 meter from its previous position resulting in a drop in signal strength.
However holding it near the top of the monitor gives me a substancial gain in strength.
The extension ariel has a magnetic base however, so I am ruluctant to place it on top if it is going to damage my new expensive monitor.
I read something saying that LCD is not affected by magnets.
But I just want to be sure before I go and place ariel on top of the montitor.
ANy help owuld be great Thanks.

I have it sitting on the back cnr of the pc box, futhest away form the hdds.
But it is designed for pc use, so it can't be too bad.
I could possibly rip the magnet out if necessary.
