C2722DE, microphone issue, Jabra speak 710
I hope someone can help. The mic on the Dell 27 C2722DE doesn’t work very well and coworkers always complain they can’t hear me when I lean back. So I invested in a Jabra speak 710. Bluetooth connection isn’t clear so I connect the USB-C to my laptop. Issue is any time I disconnect my laptop from the Jabra and monitor, my laptop stops picking up the Jabra mic/speaker and I have to reboot. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks.

I am confused.
The Jabra speak 710 can connect to the PC either with Bluetooth or USB-A. So confused by your statement, "so I connect the USB-C to my laptop"?
What specific Laptop model and operating system?
The C2722DE User's Guide page 38 shows the proper head distance from the panel popup microphone and webcam. That is about 3ft.
