Contrast/Colors issue with the new UltraSharp 2208WFP

Hi, new here so be gentle... I just received my new 2208WFP and set it aside the 2007WFP (the 20" widescreen ultra sharp). Before I describe the problem, let me tell you how satisfied I am with the 20" Ultra Sharp. It has amazing colors and high contrast. Setting it to defaults is just perfect. I set the new 2008WFP next to it and the difference is unbelievable. Contrast is so low even when set to 100% and the screen is super bright (even at 30% brightness). This is all connected to a Radeon X1300 PCIE on an ASUS P5AD2-E board. I am a photographer, not a gamer so I am very happy with my system's performance. The new 22" is on DVI and the older 20" is on VGA now. Still looks 10000 better than the 22". Is it possible that the screen is not going to have the same contrast ratio (viewable, not specs) of the 20"? I printed an image in b/w and it looked just like the 20" showed it, high contrast, not like the 22" which was low contrast and had much more details in the darks. Anyone has a solution? settings I am not aware of? I tried SRGB as color settings but that didn't affect the contrast at all. Colors are also too bright and too glowy. Let me know if there is any other info I can provide that will help the specialists here troubleshot my problem. Thanks! Moshe
