Dell 2408WFP Vertical Line Issue (video included).

I purchased my monitor from Dell Canada close to a year ago, It has been a month since I turned it on one day to be greeted with a blue vertical line running down the right side of the screen. The problem has gotten worse since then, multiple lines have appeared and my research indicated that this is a hardware problem. I've made a video to showcase the issue.

The monitor was purchased separately and still has 2~ years of warranty left. Please advise me otherwise if I am incorrect, but I feel that this is an RMA worthy issue.

I have this same issue with TWO monitors / model 2408WFP6.  Dell told me that if I want it fixed "I would need to wait for a recall".  Has anyone been able to fix their issue?
