Dell E228WFP Monitor drivers for XP
I have just reinstalled Windows XP on my Dimension E521 to help it run faster. I'm having real problems installing the correct driver for my monitor. using the supplied CD's I've installed both the nVidia and tried the ATI (it said the necessary hardware was not installed).
After following all the instructions on the supplied CD's + trying to download a new driver from the Dell website (the website only shows a driver for Vista not XP) I'm at a loss of how to get the right driver installed.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Haziwa,
Windows XP drivers for your Dell Dimension E521 are available on the Dell Support Website. Please click on the link below to download and install the drivers. In the Operating System section, you can change the selection to Windows XP if it is not already selected.

In case there is any confusion with regard to NVidia or ATI, please click on the System Configuration Sub-menu and check the original configuration of your computer which can be accessed on entering your system service tag.

It can be confusing. The video card driver is not the monitor driver. Here is the E228WFP XP driver:
