Dell U2713H rev info
Does anyone know what the last revision of this monitor is and what are the changes between revisions? Does rev A03 exists and what changed from A02?
Thanks!

Mike kk,
What are your concerns? Do you own this monitor? I have not seen an A03.
A01 to A02 = Hardware change to correct the Card Reader and USB ports not working via USB3.0 and the random color temperature shifts.

My new U2713h arrived about an hour ago - haven't opened it yet but the package label reads REV A02

In some scenarios rev a00 and rev a01 monitor can buzz. Is this fixed in rev a02?

I only have reports of the noise on the U2713HM, not the U2713H?

from tftcentral review:
"The screen does actually suffer from a buzzing issue though in certain circumstances, much like the U2713HM did. On certain content, mostly when viewing a single large text document or spreadsheet full screen, a noticeable buzzing noise is introduced. I've not really experienced it during normal every day use, but in the "right" circumstances it is there. This seems to be down to the capacitors and through our conversations before with dell regarding the U2713HM, we know this is something they are looking at. I suspect if they resolve it with a future revision of the U2713HM, the same will be done with the U2713H."

There has not been a U2713H revision to address buzzing.

I brought the monitor. Well... its DAY AND NIGHT compared to my 1080p TN monitor (not a cheap one, it costed me 260$ in 2009). MUCH better colors and MUCH more space to work. It's almost perfect (i give it 97-98%). People on the internet were talking about "terrible overdrive" or "buzzing" and the like. Those things BARELY exist. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw how great the monitor is. You time is limited, don't waste it. Just focus on the job you brought the monitor for (cad, Photoshop etc) and believe me, unless you get a defective monitor, you won't be disappointed.
I can't recommend more the monitor. It's OUTSTANDING! If you don't plan to wait 2 years for 4k monitor prices to fall, buy this now.
Thank you Dell for making this awesome product!

Hello Chris,
I have ordered /in one of the local dealers here in Bulgaria/ one of these and tomorrow I expect it to arrive. If my one is A01, is it possible to update it to A02?
The USB ports and card reader is not a problem, but random color shift doesn't sound very well.
Regards,
Bulent

Bulent,
We cannot choose a specific revision when shipping a monitor. The dealer would have to open the monitor boxes and look at the revision label.
Revisons
A00 = Initial
A01 = Software change. Turned off "Smart Video Enhance" in the monitor OSD
A02 & A03 = Hardware change. Fixed the Card Reader and USB ports not working via USB3.0. All of the exchanges going out now should be the fixed revisions, A02 or A03. But, NONE of the resellers will have these fixed monitors. The exchange MUST come from Dell
