E228WFP, not recognized after Windows 10 reinstall
I have the same problem. I have been using the monitor just fine on Windows 10, until I was forced to do a PC reset and reinstall Windows (on my HP Omen). The monitor now doesn't work. How do we get it to work/be recognized by Windows 10?

As I stated in that 2015 thread, the out of warranty 11 year old E228WFP was never tested/validated in Windows 10. All we ever provided for it were NT and XP drivers. In theory, Windows 10 should simply see it as Generic PNP monitor and work at 1680x1050. But again, theory only.
