Flashing Power Light - No Response
Monitor Model = 2007 FP. The power light and the light in the "Back" button flash every 2 seconds, and there's no response to any of the function buttons on the unit, including the ON-OFF (i.e. Power) button. There is no display, ju7st a black screen .... problem developed after unit was in "sleep" mode for approx. 2 hours. Tried the monitor on a different computer .... same problem. Any suggestions? Thanks, Leslie

Chris .... thanks very much. Tried that before posting .... I think that's your "self test" protocol. In my case, nothing appears on the screen, and the lights continue flashing at 2-second (approx.) intervals. I'm thinkin' the monitor is "toast", but hesitant to toss it because in all my years of computing, I've never had a monitor fail. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks, Leslie

qdiman,
* Power off the monitor
* Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the monitor
* Disconnect all monitor cords from the PC (USB, DVI, VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.)
* Press and hold the monitor power button down for 5 seconds
* Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the monitor
* Power on the monitor. What appears?
