How do I get repair service on my flat panel display?
The manufacture date is Nov. 2004. I'm not sure where to go for help. Is there a number I can call? Do I need an RMA? How do I get it? I'm afraid it will damaged if I ship it to dell, since I presume they won't be sending me any special box. I found Dell's web site to be overwhelming, hard to find the info I seek. Sorry if it's obvious.
The numbers on the back of my monitor say CN 0C0646-46633-484 0TLL and also REV A00.
Would someone please kindly provide me some direction???
Thank you, Eric

Call 800-624-9896 for tech support. It is a 24/7 number.
There is a 3 year warranty on monitors so they will probably refer you to sales.

One of my computer speakers fell off a 6 foot high shelf, smashed into the ground: this caused a circuit to blow for the entire room.
So I went to reset the fuse, came back into the house, and it smelled like a burning smell. When I rebooted, the dell display did not power on. The speakers did not either. Of course I unplugged the display, replugged it into another wall outlet in a different room. Still, I can't get it even to power on. Either the display was damaged in the circuit blow, or else the power cord was.
The display cost me around $1,000 in 2004. I don't know what model it is. I hate to have to buy a new display.
