IPS monitor replaced by VA panel monitor?
Recently I found my old st2220t IPS panel touchscreen monitor is faulty, and I contacted dell, they offered me a replacement monitor, which I found out is st2240t VA panel touchscreen monitor. When I put the new VA monitor along with my old IPS panel, the colors on the screen are extremely different! I do need an IPS panel monitor for video and photo editing. Is IPS replaced by VA panel a so called equal or better replacement?

The panel is not a variable when offering a monitor exchange. A monitor substitute is based on the following in this order:
Size
Current market value of your monitor
Maximum resolution
Ports
