Monitor E207WFP
The color on my monitor is distorted - - first there was too much blue and green, now there is too much red. I've tried to adjust the color settings, and nothing seems to work, including shutting everything down and then turning it back on. The monitor is probably 6 - 7 years old. Anything I can try before buying a new monitor?

plraynor,
Below are some steps to try and resolve the color issue with your monitor.
Change the color to PC Custom Color or Mac Custom Color.
Adjust the red, green, or blue values of PC Custom Color or Mac Custom Color.
Change the color format to PC RGB or YPbPr (for Video/DVI-HD inputs).
Perform a monitor self-test feature check.
Check the connection integrity at both ends of the video cable.
Check for bent or broken pins.
COLOR SETTINGS Color Settings adjusts the color setting mode and color temperature.
Different color setting submenus are available for VGA/DVI-D and Video input.

Use this option to set the different color modes for PC and Mac systems.
Color Adjustment
PC Blue: Select PC Blue to obtain a bluish tint. This color setting is typically used for text-based applications (spreadsheets, programming, text editors, etc.).
PC Red: Select PC Red to obtain a redder tint. This color setting is typically used for color-intensive applications (photograph image editors, multimedia, movies, etc.).
PC Custom: Use the + (plus) and – (minus) buttons to increase or decrease each of the three colors (red, green, and blue) independently, in single-digit increments, from 0 to 100.

Color temperature is a measure of the warmth of the image colors (red, green, and blue). The two available presets (Blue and Red) favor blue and red accordingly. Select each one to see how each range suits your eye, or use the Custom Color option to customize the color settings to your choice.
