Monitor in Sleep Mode, Computer diagnostics green, amber, green, green

My Dell monitor is in power save mode and i cannot get it to wake up. Is it dead?. There are 4 LED lights next to the power cable at the back of the PC. They are

labled A,B,C,D. the "B" LED color is quite different from the rest. When I used same monitor in another PC it works fine and the monitor comes on. Please comment if anyone has ran into same/similar issue(s) before.

Thanks,

Chris U.

Hi Chris U,

As the monitor is working fine when connected it to a second computer, the problem could be with the first computer which is not allowing the video signals to display on the monitor.

Did you try connecting a different monitor to the first computer and check if that displays anything on the monitor? If not please try it, this will help us to isolate the between the monitor and the computer.

Please post the results and the model of the monitor for further help.

What specific Dell computer is this? The ABCD leds are a diagnostic for the computer, not the monitor.
