P2214H, Dual, Nintendo Switch, MacBook Air

@poisionstabberfor the MacBook Air, get a USB-C to DisplayPort cable.  For the Nintendo Switch, it seems to only support HDMI output, but since the P2214H includes a DVI-D input, you could use an HDMI to DVI cable for that, or if you get a Switch cable that already has an HDMI connector on the other end, just get a female HDMI to male DVI adapter to connect it to the display.  Those adapters are directional, i.e. there are also female DVI to male HDMI adapters, which is NOT what you'd want in this case.

@jphughan​ i bought an hdmi to displayport for my switch was that a mistake? It's saying that there isn't a signal coming from the switch
