P2417H, no image but the backlight works

Hi everyone,

I've got a Dell P2417H that doesn't have a picture but the backlight comes on. I looked up the Service tag and the warranty ended in December of 2020 (Doh!).  I have followed the things I've seen in the forums (by Dell-Chris M).
1. I've disconnected ALL cables, discharged the capacitors by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
2. I plugged in only the power cable and powered it back on, but I don't see the self test and I can't navigate to the Factory reset as nothing comes up by pressing the soft buttons.
3. I tried the BID (5 button config) by doing the above and then pressing button 1 for 5 seconds (for post 2016 models) and repeated all the steps and tried BID with buttons 1 and 4 for 2 seconds. I wasn't sure when this model was launched.

Is there anything else I can do other than purchase a new monitor?

Thanks,

-Wade

Based on your troubleshooting, I do not know of anything else to try. Considering its age, the cost of 3rd party diagnosis and repair might outweigh the current used market value.
