P2715Q: Daisy-chaining on Macbook Pro
I'm having trouble daisy-chaining two P2715Q monitors on my Macbook Pro.
When I connect the monitors per instructions and set the first monitor to Primary and the second monitor to Secondary, I am only able to get the screens to Mirror each other. The second display does not appear as a separate display in OS X at all.
I am running a nearly-new Macbook Pro (2015 model), with OS X El Capitan. I am using the provided mDP to DP cable that came with the monitor to make the first connection to the primary display, and this third-party DP to DP cable to daisy-chain to the second monitor.
I understand that both monitors will (unfortunately) only run at 30hz when daisy-chained, but I was at least expecting little-to-no trouble getting the monitors to be seen as separate displays by the OS. Hopefully there is a way around this.

Unfortunately, Dell does not test/validate this monitor model on Apple hardware, ports, and software.
Because of this, Dell does not have many troubleshooting steps to offer. They might here.
You should be testing using the Dell supplied mDP to DP cables.
#1 P2715Q MST Primary 4k2k 3840x2160 30Hz (DP out Enabled)
#2 P2715Q MST Secondary 4k2k 3840x2160 30Hz (DP out Disabled)
Apple Thunderbolt/mDP out --> Dell mDP to DP cable --> #1 P2715Q DP in
#1 P2715Q DP out --> Dell DP to mDP cable --> #2 P2715Q mDP in

Hello --
I'm also trying to daisy chain two P2715Q monitors to the most recent Macbook Pro 15" and I'm having the exact same issue as the OP. Even when I do exactly what the Dell CS rep outlines above, the two monitors mirror each other - they don't register as two separate monitors.
I realize that Dell offers limited support for Apple configurations, but are there any other alternatives or optional setups? I'm at my wit's end trying to get both monitors to work.

As previously stated above, "Dell does not test/validate this monitor model on Apple hardware, ports, and software.". We at Dell have no training in how to extend monitors in the proprietary Apple OS. You need to ask Apple Support or the users on their Forum.
