P2721Q, USB Type-C Prioritization
I have a MacBook Pro 15 2017 (with Radeon Pro 560 4 GB), which supports only DP1.2 but not 1.4. I'm planning to purchase P2721Q. I've seen in MAC-Dell Monitor issues on Ultrasharp series (eg.U2720Q) can be solved via selecting USB-C Prioritization: High Resolution in OSD menu. BUT when I check P2721Q's user guide, such USB-C prioritization option doesn't exist in P2721Q OSB Menu.
Also Dell Support Knowledge Base only provides info about Ultrasharp series, but not this monitor (eg. Article Number: 000131273)
So, when I connect my computer via USB-C with DP1.2, would I be able to get 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz from my MacBook Pro?

@Orcun_B The P2721Q manual here on Page 11 indicates that the USB-C input only supports DP 1.2 and USB 2.0, so yes you'll be able to run 3840x2160 60 Hz from your system -- and only USB 2.0 data speeds. But fyi I really wouldn't recommend a 27" 4K display for any macOS system. See this post of mine, which is one of a few that I've written as to why.

Thanks for the prompt an clear answer.
I see your point regarding pixel density and cannot argue that. Yet, my other aims from this monitor are to connect PS5 via HDMI to play 4k games and to watch netflix 4k (from PS5+hdmi, since dp1.2 will not support hdcp2.2 - so much to learn for so simple requests).
No need to mention Dell alternatives, yet none of them look this chic and minimalistic, besides they’d have similar pixel density issue.

@Orcun_B Happy to help. If gaming is a priority, you might want to look into Dell's S Series displays. Some of them support HDR, higher refresh rates, and/or HDMI VRR, and I believe there's at least one model that also has a 1440p native resolution but can accept a 4K source signal and downscale it internally to 1440p. On a display that size, I wouldn't expect the resolution difference would be noticeable. I haven't followed the S Series displays very closely, but that's my recollection from seeing threads on this forum. Good luck!
