P3421W, randomly resets when connected via USB-C

When connecting the P3421W to a Windows 10 laptop (ThinkPad Yoga Gen 5) via USB-C, the monitor randomly "resets" several times a day. When connecting this same monitor and laptop via HDMI, the monitor is completely stable with no resets.

Is this a known issue? Possible resolution?
