S2218H, auto adjust menu is disabled, bars

The OSD settings you mention would only be available if you were using an analog VGA connection, not HDMI.  It is likely the horizontal bars are the result of a change to your graphics driver and the timing parameters it is using.

Hello, swamped207, Thank you for response. The VGA connection showed other menu items OK. But the horizontal bars are there.
The bars are not a result of graphics issue. As I have mentioned, it stays there as is even without a PC connection.
Those bars stays there for 4 seconds, fine for the next 4 seconds and comes back after 4 seconds and repeats.
Those bars are a distraction, so I need to fix them. 
Is there any possible solution I can manually do or pay someone to fix this?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're describing - the picture you posted shows the OSD but I don't see any horizontal bars. If possible, you should connect the S2218 to a different HDMI source (PC/cable box/dvd/etc) and see if the "bars" are persistent across sources.

Sorry the image does not show bars clearly but if zoomed in, the bars are visible.
These bars comes and goes repeatedly in evey 4 seconds. The bars are not a result of graphics from PC, as other monitors runs fine and the bars exist without any PC connection.

Please zoom in to see the bars clearly.
