S2419HGF, HDMI audio not working

I have tried everything to fix my monitor's audio, and nothing seems to work. I know the speakers aren't broken or the cables are not right. I have tried updating the drivers, restoring my system to an older version, setting the monitor sound device to default, changing the default format and unchecking the exclusive modes. But nothing works, can anyone help? Laptop: Lenovo Y520 Windows 10 GTX 1060 Max-Q Design I used the HDMI cable that came in the box to connect the monitor. The Audio doesn't even work with my PS4.

I think I understand your confusion. The S2419HGF does not have built-in speakers. Which is why page 11 shows =

The S2419HGF Menu- Audio are for those two ports.

The Playback Device is simply saying that the audio is going into the S2419HGF from the PC via HDMI. You still have to plug powered speakers or headset into the S2419HGF to hear the audio.

I sent you another private message asking for more private data.

So this is your current setup =

* Lenovo Y520 laptop (Nvidia GTX 1060) HDMI out port --> S2419HGF HDMI to HDMI cable --> S2419HGF HDMI in port

* External powered speakers connected to the S2419HGF Audio line out port. NOT the Headphone port

* You then opened the S2419HGF Menu, went to Audio, set the Volume to 50

* You then left clicked the Speaker icon on the Windows taskbar, and chose S2419HGF HDMI as the playback device
