S2422HZ, Huawei MateBook 16, flickering

So I bought myself this S2422HZ and it works fine via HDMI and USB-C (Camera and Audio). I wanted to use only one single cable though.

1. Test was with my Laptop Huawei MateBook 16 (2021 model, USB-C 3.2 should be supported via the charging port).

HDMI: Works fine
Camera + Audio via USB-C (cable that came in the package): Works fine

Picture via USB-C (cable that came in the package): Doesn't work, I get some screen flickering here and there and the monitor goes into standby mode

2. Test with iPad Pro 2023 via USB-C (cable that came in the package) - Screen works fine

Any ideas? Should I order another USB-C cable and test it with it?

So I'll answer my own question for all the people that might buy this monitor or a similar model:

Out of frustration, I ordered a new USB-C cable from Amazon with USB-C 3.2 4k specs. I just arrived and the monitor finally works over USB-C only. I just detatched the HDMI cable.

DEAR DELL -Team:

If you're already delivering the monitor with a USB-C cable, please make sure that it's of decent quality. I think other people would have just returned the monitor back and didn't fiddle with it. I wasted maybe 4-5 hours on problem-solving, testing it over HDMI, testing it with my iPad Pro etc. but not everyone has a hdmi cable at hand or another device to test it with. Like said before another person would just try it out with the boxed usb-c cable, see the screen not working/flickering and just return it back. This way you're losing customers and revenue. I'm a business owner myself and that's why I'm writing all this. Otherwise I wouldn't care much.

But it's all good and it's all love

Are you convinced that the provided USB-C to USB-C cable was defective?

You stated that the cable worked on the iPad Pro 2023 for video and data and that the cable worked on the Huawei for USB data. That is two passes.

The fail was only for the Huawei video and data. To me that points to something about the Huawei?
