S2719DC, flashing RGB colors

My Dell S2719DC monitor is slightly older than a week. I use it in conjunction with Dell XPS laptop via USB-C -> HDMI cable. Today out of the blue, it started flashing red, green and blue colors in succession. After reading up on this state in other threads, it seems like it corresponds to "Deep Sleep". I have not been able to get into any menus on the monitor and have not been able to get it into any other state after multiple attempts of connecting / reconnecting power power. Is there a way to fix this without exchanging the monitor on warranty? Thank you.

Thank you for your message. Please disconnect all the cables from the monitor. Press & hold down the power button for 30 seconds.

Connect only the power cord & start the monitor check if there is a monitor self-test screen & if you can access the on-screen menu from here.

For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

How to locate the service tag

After following your instructions, no self-test screen appears and the flashing pattern is still there. There is still no way for me to access any menus / monitor controls.
