S2719DGF, PS5 2k 60Hz support?
Hello,
Any plans to add 2k with 60Hz support like other companies (Samsung ,Asus and more)? I am not speaking about 144 or 120Hz just 2k support with 60Hz?

EDIT: Original answer here was based on a misread of the question.

I do not understand the question? The S2719DGF already does 2048x1080 60Hz and 2560x1440 60Hz. See the online S2719DGF User's Guide page 17.

@Fulgerstyle Sorry, I misread your post. 2560x1440 60 Hz on HDMI is already supported on this display, as indicated by Page 14 of the manual here. But according to this article, it's the PS5 that doesn't support 2560x1440 output, at least not yet. Nothing Dell can do about that.
Side note: Referring to that resolution as "2K" isn't a great idea. 2K is technically a film resolution of 2048x1080, and when used in the consumer space it actually refers to the nearest and slightly lower resolution of 1920x1080 -- just as 4K is a film resolution of 4096x2160 but in the consumer space refers to the nearest and slightly lower resolution of 3840x2160. But so many people use "2K" incorrectly that when people read it, it's not clear what the person who wrote it meant. And ambiguity is bad in technical discussions since it can send the conversation/troubleshooting down the wrong path. 2560x1440 is rightfully called 1440p or QHD. The latter is only one extra character over 2K, but it adds a lot of disambiguation value.

My bad for not explaining but other 2560x1440 60 Hz monitors updated firmware to work with 3840 x 2160 but automatically downscale to 2560x1440 so it can trick the ps5 .
And alot of other firms did this.

@Fulgerstyle Ah ok, support for receiving a 4K signal and downscaling to 1440p is another animal. But based on this official response from Dell that the S2719DGF wouldn't be getting any updates to add new features like 1440p 120 Hz, I wouldn't hold out for this type of feature update. And based on this post about an even newer model in this product line where a feature was added via firmware update but users had to arrange a hardware exchange to get a display with updated firmware, it's possible that the display doesn't have field-upgradeable firmware to begin with.
