U2212HM, flickering, degrading capacitors

With my U2212HM there is the same problem I have seen for U2312HM, and this problem is unsolvable by the usual methods of configuring the computer system or the settings of the monitor because it is a hardware problem. I have tried different computers, cables, settings and so on!

Sometimes there are some contacting issues, so I opened the case of the monitor and dismounted all parts. I am an professional electronics technician. All contacts and plugs looked very clean and proper. Nevertheless I cleaned all of them, but as expected this did not change anything.

So there is one more thing causing a lot of hardware errors coming up after some years of use: the lacking of electrolytic capacitors. The behavior and growth of this error looks very typical to me for degrading capacitors!
I think there have been many monitors of the series mentioned above that were returned to Dell for repair. It would be very helpful to hear from the Dell factory workshop, which parts (capacitors) caused these very frequent errors!

To be considerate of environment, I refuse to throw away good devices that could be repaired economical, but for that I need some supporting information from the manufacturer. I would be happy to receive such!

Dell has never "repaired" monitors, sold monitor internal components, or have monitor disassembly documentation. Dell only exchanges them while still inside the purchased warranty. The returned monitors go back to the manufacturer for failure analysis. If they can repair them, the come back to Dell as refurbished stock.
