U2311H, entering PSM
When I boot my PC, it looks like it works fine except the monitor displays the message, "entering Power Save Mode". I can`t get it out and only have a black screen. I`m working on a desktop with windows 10, energy settings on never go to sleep. i tried a different monitor that works fine. I changed the video card with one I know works, still got the problem. Did a factory reset of the U2311H.
Please help

* To what video card is the U2311H connected?
* Using what ports on both and what cable?
* List all of the video out ports on the video card

* Turn the computer and U2311H off
* Disconnect every cable from the U2311H including the power cable
* Press and hold in the U2311H power button for 10 seconds
* Reconnect ONLY the power cable to the U2311H
* Turn the U2311H on. What appears on the display?

To what video card is the U2311H connected?
- videocard that i`m 100% sure of it works is a Geforce GTX 560 Ti
* Using what ports on both and what cable?
using a dvi cable on dvi port 1
* List all of the video out ports on the video card
2 dvi and 1 hdmi

Oke did what you wrote stand alone. It says Dell, and then no dvi cable

Do i need to connect it to my pc ? currently i`m using a old monitor. Just wondering it is now standing with no cables connected. Holding the power button right now sounds a bit strange since it isn`t connected to anything.

That is good. That means that the U2311H is "looking" for the DVI signal/cable.
* Turn the computer and U2311H off
* Disconnect the all cables from the GeForce GTX 560 Ti
* Connect like this =
GeForce GTX 560 Ti DVI 1 out port --> DVI to DVI cable --> U2311H DVI in port
* Turn the U2311H on, then the computer. What happens?

* Connect like this =
GeForce GTX 560 Ti DVI 2 out port --> DVI to DVI cable --> U2311H DVI in port
* Turn the U2311H on, then the computer. What happens?
