U2312HM or P2414H

Hi I just wanted opinions on whether I should get the ultra sharp ips monitor  U2312HM or the professional P2414H. I will be using my computer for gaming and animation so I probably need the monitor with the faster moniter, Tft central has a review on both of the screens but I cannot diverge which one is actually better than the other (links down the bottom) . I also want to use the computer for photoshop and watching movies and I am pretty sure that the U2312HM has better color representation. 

Opinions? experiences? I can't decide

Well the Dell U2312HM monitor is the Choice of most Gamers and People who do lots of Video Editing and 3D Rendering while the Dell P2414H monitor is generally used in Business places that require higher end Graphic capabilities.

Comparison between Dell U2312HM and Dell P2414H monitors-

  • The Dell U2312HM has a Panel Size of 23 Inches whereas, The Dell P2414H has a Panel Size of 24 Inches.
  • Both the Monitors have a Optimal Resolution of 1920X1080P (FHD) at 60Hz..
  • Both the Monitors have an Aspect Ratio of Widescreen 16:9.
  • Both the Monitor have Panel Type as IPS (In-Plane Switching) with Display Scen Coating as Anti Glare with Hard Coat 3H.
  • Both the Monitors have same Contrast Ratio- 1000: 1 (typical), Dynamic Contrast Ratio : 2 Million:1 (Max).
  • The Dell U2312HM has the Brightness of 300 cd/m2 whereas, The Dell P2414H has the Brightness of 250 cd/m2.
  • Both the Monitors have a Viewing Angle of  178° vertical / 178° horizontal.
  • Both the Monitors have a Response Time of 8ms.
  • The Dell P2414H has a Power Consumption (Operational) of 28W (typical) / 45W (maximum) whereas, The Dell U2312HM has 30W(typical) / 70W(maximum).

I suggest that you should have a look at the Dell S2240T 21.5" Multi Touch Monitor or Dell P2714T 27" Multi Touch Monitor or Dell P2314T 23" Multi Touch Monitor.
