U2410 and Playstation DisplayPort issues
I have a monitor dell u2410 and I have a problem with the display port connection,I use normally a hdmi cable to connect to the Playstation but I bought a display port to hdmi adapter in ebay

but when I connect no display image received.I think that the display port conector is IN like the other connectors,The think is when I input it no cable signal is detected and with the same cable I plug it in the hdmi conector and works fine. I try in the Ps3 and Wii U with same results. Is the adapter wrong? Any solutions?

The U2414H have 2 DP one DP IN and DP out. My u2410 has DP out then? What is the use for that port in the u2410?
The purpose of using that DP in mi u2410 is because the HDMI port is occupied with another console (Wii U)
What is the best solution? Can I use that DP port someway? Or use a split of HDMI

You are using that converter backwards. That converter would be used like this:
video card DP out --> DP to DP cable --> DP to HDMI converter --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> monitor HDMI port
The PS3 HDMI port cannot upconvert to the monitor DP (DisplayPort). You must connect the PS3 HDMI to an HDMI to HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the U2410.

Unlucky not to have known before purchasing the adapter :( Thanks for the clarification and
the solution was buy and HDMI splitter like that.

What is the sense of DP out in the U2414H? Clone or duplicate the image?

The U2414H has nothing to do with the U2410. The U2410 has one DP in port. It would be used if the source device had a DP out port. It is useless for you (PS3, Wii). You will simply have to unplug the Wii from the monitor and plug the PS3 in when you want to use it. None of the remaining video in ports on the monitor will transmit audio. For both devices, you must use HDMI.

What is the sense of DP out in the U2414H? Clone or duplicate the image?
The U2414H (not your U2410) can daisy chain another U2414H.
Computer video card DP out --> DP to DP cable --> #1 U2414H DP in
#1 U2414H DP out --> DP to DP cable --> #2 U2414H DP in
