U2410f - Does Not Power On - Intermittant
Dell Support and team,
I have a U2410f that has an issue with powering on. It intermittently will not power on, and this behavior has become more consistent over time (earlier it would happen rarely, then later with more frequency).
Symptoms:
- The power button in the lower right, does not light up, as though it is connected to a power source
- Pressing of the button gives no feedback that the monitor is powering up
Actions taken so far:
- Re-seating the power cable
- Do not always work
- Sometimes works first time, other times does not work at all
- Re-seating the cable

- Using a different video cable
- No effect, happens with DVI, HDMI, or Displayport
- Using a different power cord
- No effect
- Using a different power source/plug
- No effect
Please advise of recommended next steps.

It goes through a UPS.
I have changed those out as well. As well as moving to a different circuit on the house.

Your power source is directly to the wall jack? No UPS or surge protector?

Please test the monitor power cord directly into the wall power outlet.

I have called into Dell Technical Support on this issue allready, submitting the information supplied (as I bought my monitor directly from Dell).
Is there a known good number to call for the monitor reporting process?

Technical Support cannot exchange a monitor that does not have a service tag number. Use Customer Support.
