U2412M, input timing is not supported, #1
Hello!
i just bought a new u2412m and i am having it connected together with an old dell 2001fp to an dell dimension 9200. When i am setting the u2412 as primary monitor i get the error:
"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920x1200 @60hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications."
Before that the monitor sometimes i only can see the upper half of the screen. i checked the settings and they are 1920x1200 and 60hz.. i would really appreciate any help! thanks in advance.
best,
thomas untersweg

For now, remove the dual monitor setup. Disconnect the 2001FP and try to setup the U2412M as the only monitor.

I just installed my new U2412M this morning and have the same error message with blue speckles on screen. I am replace the original dell 24" which worked fine other than screen burn-in. I am not using dual monitors and connected through the DVI connection.

Similar story for me. I have dual U2412M monitors connected via a 10m DVI cable and a 5m DVI cable on "Extend display" mode.
One of my monitors shows that error, but when I change the display to 60Hz it changes it back to 59Hz.
Very annoying.
Is this a graphics card problem, a DVI cable problem, or a monitor problem?

I have exactly the same issue. As near as I can tell, this $400 monitor only does 60 Hz even at 640x480. That's mind blowingly awful and literally gives me headaches.
