Hi Team,

Good day.

My monitor does not come with Service Tag and i have some issue with the monitor where i am not able to call dell technical without the tag.

Could you please advise how we can carry forward with this.

All monitor troubleshooting must be done out here. What is the issue? Did you read through the U2412M User's Guide and do the OSD (On Screen Display)- Other Settings- Factory Reset and Built-in Diagnostics?

I have read the user guide and OSD display. I am not sure how this issue can be solve online. Many thanks

Did you see that vertical line during the Built-in Diagnostics? If not, the monitor is ok. The culprit is the cabling, video card, or video card driver.

What specific Dell computer model?
What operating system?
What specific video card?
What video out ports are on the video card?
List every cable and port used between the monitor and the computer. Example =
Computer video card DVI out port --> Dell DVI to DVI cable --> Monitor DVI in port
Monitor USB upstream cable --> Computer USB port
