U2414H REV A00: Small area of the screen growing brightly

I'm posting this here because I have been unable to email support because my monitor doesn't have a service tag.

I bought my U2414H: REV A00 from Amazon in May this year. Today I noticed one very small part of the screen is glowing extra bright. When there is a black image behind the area you can't notice it. However I have come to the conclusion that this isn't a stuck/dead pixel because depending on how you look at the screen, the position of the bright area changes. Suggesting there is a problem behind one of the panels of the screen (thats my guess anyway)

These pictures show how a change in perspective changes things, in the first picture the camera is high and the glow is above the line, then the second is from a low angle and the light is below the line:

I have ran various stuck pixel fixing programs, reset the screen and ran the built in test. Would anyone be able to help me get this fixed? Like I said, I would have emailed support directly but I have been unable to contact them because I don't have a service number. Thank you!

Sorry I missed this thread! Did you have this issue out of the box in May? Read the User's Guide section on running the BID (Built-in Diagnostics). If you see the fault when running this diagnostics, the monitor is faulty.
